Great podcast, you had me hooked all the way through. I live in England and have been making telescopes since the 1960’s. Always using home made machine especially for polishing, having got idea from ATM book 1 John Henry Hindle ”Machine Polished Mirrors”. I have made a bigger version and am now polishing a 20” F.4 , having recently finished a 16” F.5 meniscus 9mm thin plate glass using a modification of Hindle machine (Henderson Hindle on YouTube) which alleviates astigmatism.
